Hey guys! We tag teamed onto the rescue mission that The Rattery was helping this weekcoming all the way from Wyoming!
For those who don’t know, we had an awesome person come all the way from Wyoming help out with transferring these guys from a situation that Included some housing issues. 24 rats came all the way here to Denver to find their forever homes!
I ended up taking all the girls & babies. Which are all female except one lil guy!! So we have 10 total rats coming available here for adoption soon!!
These ladies (and smol boy) are going thru quarantine & long term hold depending on age.
Unfortunately all 24 rats were living in just 1 small cage, which Included both genders.
Since the older girls were placed with their baby daddies till transfer they will be available 9/22 IF they don’t have any kiddos!
The adolescent girls will be available 9/22 as well. They’re about 3 months old it seems, which is old enough technically to be able to get pregnant. It’s extremely unlikely but we don’t ever want to risk anything!!
The young babies will be ready 9/29 when the babies are 8 weeks old. Mom will be ready 9/29 as well to make sure that she is also not pregnant! And an extra week for a hold just to be safe.
HOLD DATES ARE CORRECT UNLESS THEY DO END UP HAVING A LITTER, THEN THEIR HOLD DATE WILL BE UPDATED

She is a little runty, which I assume is from not getting enough nutrition / improper breeding but unsure. She is showing signs of stunting / dwarfism specifically not having much of a neck / possible fused neck bones. She is not showing any other medical issues except for being smaller than her siblings and a little underweight. She is available for adoption at a reduced rate but please keep that in mind. She is fully healthy other then that!
